Chunk upgraded to a 2008 model Hayabusa for the
beginning of the 2010 season, what a difference from the
1999 model. The bike was naturally aspirated with a stock
motor for the beginning part of the year. The bike had a
Brock's pipe and made 194bhp.
Mid-Season saw Chunk bolt on a Velocity Stage One Turbo
kit, giving the bike 240bhp running with just 4lb spring
pressure. The best times of 2010 were a series of 9.1's at
the Extreme Bike Weekend.
A new set up for Chunk includes an upgraded turbo, fuelling
system and a longer arm.
The Springspeed Nationals saw a turnaround for Chunk,
qualifying in 4th place and getting the runner up trophy
after losing in the 8.50 final against Peter Austin.
